PSA: Why Our Calls May Show as “Potential Spam”

What It Means and How to Fix It

You may have noticed that calls from your veterinary clinic occasionally appear on your phone as “Potential Spam” or “Spam Risk.” We understand this can be confusing, and we want to reassure you: this label is not coming from our clinic or our phone provider.

Instead, these labels are applied by your mobile carrier (such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) using automated call-screening systems designed to reduce unwanted robocalls. Occasionally, these systems can mistakenly flag legitimate business numbers, including ours.

What You Can Do

To ensure you always recognize calls from your trusted clinic:

  1. Save Our Numbers
Add Omaha Vets Group phone number to your contacts: 402-704-7304

  2. Mark as Safe
On many phones, saving the number or interacting with it tells your carrier it’s a trusted contact.

  3. Look for the Name Update
Once saved, future calls should appear with Omaha Vets Group instead of a “Potential Spam” label.

Why This Matters

We may call with important updates about your pet’s care, test results, or appointment reminders. Adding us to your contacts helps make sure you don’t miss those calls.

If you ever have questions or need help identifying legitimate calls from us, please don’t hesitate to reach out at 402-704-7304. We are always here to help!
