The metro area clinics together provide the best veterinary services to a growing Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. (October 29, 2024) – Introducing Omaha Vets Group (OVG), a network of local veterinary clinics that together provide pets with the best possible medicine, service and care.
OVG currently includes six metro area clinics with compassionate veterinarians, state-of-the-art facilities and personalized services tailored to a pet's unique needs. From routine check-ups to advanced treatments, all OVG’s clinics are here to keep pets healthy and happy.
The network clinics that make up the Omaha Vets Group include:
In 2001, Ridgeview Animal Hospital was established by Dr. Joanne Gaines, who later opened Walnut Creek Veterinary Clinic in Papillion, Nebraska, in 2008. Nearly a decade later, Skyline Veterinary Clinic in Elkhorn, Nebraska, opened in 2016. Since then, the regional network has continued to grow, including acquiring The Ridge Veterinary Clinic in 2021, partnering with Cottner Creek Pet Clinic in 2022, and opening Coventry Veterinary Clinic in 2023. Looking ahead, two new locations will open in the first half of 2025, continuing our commitment to providing top-notch veterinary care to the region.
“Omaha Vets Group is proud to announce our network of local clinics forming a cohesive group of veterinary professionals working together in the area to best serve our clients and patients,” said Dr. Gaines. “Creating a better life for pets and the families who love them has always been a priority for our teams. Through education, progressive medicine and healthy relationships, we offer comprehensive medicine and surgery for animals in the Omaha metro area.”
OVG’s experienced team of veterinarians, managers and staff aim to create a better life for pets and people through education, progressive medicine, and healthy relationships. Across OVG’s vast network of local clinics, pet owners can access a variety of full-service veterinary care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets including routine wellness exams, diagnostics, surgeries, dental care, behavioral services, orthopedic surgeries and more. All practices work together to provide consistent pricing, processes, protocols, values and operations, and advanced technology allows files to be easily shared between clinics so in-network veterinarians can collaborate and consult.
All OVG clinics also offer the veterinarian-designed Pet Prime® Memberships, care plans that provide comprehensive wellness services and aid in early disease detection for pet preventative care at any age. Pet Prime® Memberships can be used at any of OVG’s six network clinics.
Omaha Vets Group clinics are open Monday through Friday. Cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, Care Credit, and ScratchPay are accepted at all locations. All clinics offer same day and next day appointments when available, which can be made via phone or by online request.
