Dr. Kaelinn Friesen grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Her passion for working with animals began at a young age with her beloved cat, Jordan, and was further solidified in high school after observing her first surgical procedure. Inspired by the blend of science, compassion, and teamwork, she knew then that veterinary medicine was the right career path for her.
Kaelinn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2022 and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine through the ISU–UNL Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine in 2026. During her training, she gained valuable hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant with Omaha Vets Group for four summers.
Outside of the clinic, Kaelinn enjoys staying active and spending time with loved ones. Her hobbies include playing pickleball with friends, running, reading, following Nebraska athletics, and exploring National Parks. She also shares her home with her cat, Nora.
