Dr. Siggers is the Chief of Staff at Cottner Creek Pet Clinic. He originally opened this location in 1995 when it was known as Best Care Animal Hospital, first as the managing veterinarian and then as the owner, before joining the Omaha Vets Group in 2022.
Born and raised in Omaha, Dr. Siggers earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1989 and his DVM degree from Kansas State University in 1993. While enjoying the care of dogs/cats, he has a special interest in exotic pet medicine and surgery and sees most exotic species (birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hedgehogs). Dr. Siggers provides wellness and sick visits as well as surgical care for exotic pets, with on-site housing, medications, and supplements readily available to support treatment.
In his spare time, Dr. Siggers enjoys traveling and, as a self-proclaimed foodie, sampling local cuisine. He’s an avid fan of the Kansas State Wildcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers and loves cheering them on in whatever sport is in season. He also enjoys spending time with his family, including his cat, Ranger; his son and daughter-in-law, Tristan and Macey; his granddaughter Olivia, his daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Jeff; and all their assorted dogs.
