Shannon graduated from NCTA in May of 2000. She began her career at a veterinary clinic in Omaha, where she met Dr. Joey Gaines, and later joined Ridgeview Animal Hospital when it opened in 2001. With over 25 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Shannon has developed a deep and comprehensive understanding of the profession. Starting as a veterinary technician at a startup clinic, she steadily advanced into various leadership roles, discovering her passion for mentorship and staff development.
Shannon is committed to improving wellness in the veterinary profession and finds immense fulfillment in helping others grow, reach their potential, and succeed in their roles. Whether mentoring new technicians, enhancing operational efficiency, or fostering a positive work culture, she is dedicated to creating environments where individuals can thrive and continue to learn.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys unleashing her creativity through design projects, exploring new spaces, and visiting open houses. She is the proud mother of “Irish twin” boys, Gavin and Malik, and shares her home with Dixie, an energetic Australian Shepherd who keeps her active. Jeep rides and daily walks are a shared favorite for Shannon and Dixie.
